On October 18th 1859, the Grand Lodge of Kansas met in Lawrence, in the hall of #6.  At 2 o'clock, the Grand Lodge proceeded to the site of a University under construction... KU's Old North College.  There, they squared a corner stone, the first corner laid by the Grand Lodge of Kansas.
